This song is from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora’s first solo album Stranger in This Town. Sambora wrote the song about his guitar heroes – including Eric Clapton and Robert Johnson – and was surprised when Clapton agreed to guest star on Mr. Bluesman with his very own guitar solo.
